Who sells the Rubby apps
The Rubby apps, starting with Rubby Notes, are made and sold by [legal business name], RFC [RFC], [street address, colonia, city, state, postal code], México.
Questions, help, refunds or a factura: write to [support@rubby-hub.app]. We answer within two business days. Please include the email you paid with.
Refunds
If an app isn't for you, write to us within 30 days of buying it and we'll refund the full price, no questions asked. Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with; for OXXO payments we'll ask for a bank account (CLABE) to send it to. Refunds usually show up within 5 to 10 business days.
Once an order is refunded, its download link stops working.
Terms of sale
- What you get. One payment ($9.99 USD for Rubby Notes; in Mexico, its value in pesos at the day's exchange rate, with IVA included) gives you a personal licence to use the app on your own computers, on Windows, macOS and Linux, including the updates published at your download link.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. OXXO vouchers must be paid before they expire; an unpaid voucher simply cancels the order.
- Delivery. Downloads are available right after payment on the confirmation page, and by email once the payment is confirmed (for OXXO, usually within one business day).
- Your licence. One purchase lets you use the app on up to 3 computers at once, signed in with your Rubby account (the email you paid with). The app checks your licence with us every few days; it works offline in between. Sign a computer out from your account page to use the app on another.
- Sharing. Please don't share or resell your account, your download link or the installers.
- Invoices. If you need a CFDI (factura), email us your RFC, régimen fiscal, código postal and uso de CFDI within the same month of your purchase.
- Your data. Rubby Notes keeps your notes on your computer; we never see them. Your Rubby account holds your email, a hash of your password (never the password itself), what you bought, and a name and a hashed id for each computer an app is signed in on. Payments are handled by Stripe, which holds your payment details. If you join friends in Rubby Notes, we also keep your username, your duck's colours and how many tasks you finished each day (numbers only, never the tasks), and show them only to your friends; leaving friends deletes them. We use your email only for your account, your download link and answering you. You can delete your account from your account page at any time; your purchases stay on record, as the law requires.
- Warranty. The apps are provided as is. We work to keep them reliable, but we can't be held liable for lost data or indirect damages, as far as the law allows. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Mexican law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor) or the law where you live.
- Changes. We may update these terms; the version on this page when you bought applies to your purchase.
